Topps Co., seller of Bazooka gum and baseball cards, said sales of candy and trading cards featuring Nintendo Co.’s Pokemon video game characters could be $80 million to $100 million in the fiscal year ending Feb. 26. “Topps is doing no marketing, and this stuff is flying off the shelves,” said Eric Wold, analyst at First Security Van Kasper, who plans to increase his earnings forecasts for Topps. Wold said he had expected Pokemon revenue of about $50 million. Pokemon is a top-selling video game and the No. 1-rated TV show in U.S. syndication. A feature film based on the fighting creatures opens Nov. 12.
