The City Council agreed Tuesday to set up a system for interviewing and possibly appointing someone to the seat left vacant Sept. 7 by Gene Wisner, but stipulated that whoever takes the seat would have to agree not to be a candidate in a special council election in March.
Residents interested in applying for the temporary City Council seat can send a letter of intent to Interim City Manager Daniel Miller, listing their qualifications. The letter should be mailed to Miller at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7150.
