The Costa Mesa software company said net income for the third quarter totaled $4.6 million, or 14 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of 5.8 million, or 18 cents a share, for the 1998 third quarter. Revenue increased 20% to $85.5 million.
The company said it logged an increasing number of large individual sales during the quarter. FileNet received 11 orders in excess of $1 million each, including one order for more than $5 million from a large city government.
