The Planning Commission has approved a request from the Theologian Orthodox Church to rent office space at the Sycamore Business Center to hold its services.
At a recent meeting, the commission granted St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church, in Rancho Santa Margarita, permission to move into the business center on 32244 Paseo Adelanto.
The church will conduct a Sunday morning service, a prayer service or Bible study two or three nights each week and maintain an office during the weekdays at its new location.
Sunday service is estimated to draw 50 to 55 worshipers, while weeknights are expected to attract only five to 12 people.
No move-in date has been scheduled.
