Rick Boggs--golfer, skydiver, musician and actor--is the featured speaker for the 21st annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. He also has been blind since birth. But the versatile Boggs has not let that get in his way. The motivational speaker will talk about his experiences at the event Dec. 2. The master of ceremonies will be television personality Ed Arnold.
The last chance to get tickets for the event, to be held at the Radisson Resort at Knott’s Berry Farm (formerly the Buena Park Hotel), is Tuesday. Tickets are $10. Information: (714) 562-3844.
