The City Council will hold its annual development agreement review at tonight’s meeting to ensure the five developers currently building within San Clemente are living up to their contractual obligations.
The city staff is recommending that the City Council find that the developers responsible for the Plaza Pacifica, Monarch, Laing Forster Ranch, Marblehead Coastal and Talega projects be deemed in compliance with their respective agreements.
According a staff report, the five development agreements in place will provide, among other things, more than $6 million for downtown revitalization. Prior to completion, the developments will also include three new public parks and extensions of Avenida Vista Hermosa and Camino Vera Cruz.
