Ashley Bishop, reading program coordinator at Cal State Fullerton, will speak at the next Parent Information Night at Alamitos Intermediate School on Monday. Bishop will address topics such as improving reading comprehension skills, reading for enjoyment and book selection for children. The event is open to parents of students at Alamitos and neighboring schools. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the school’s multipurpose room, 12381 Dale St. Information: (714) 663-6101.
