Richard Roll Named President at Epicor Software

Richard Roll has been named president and chief operating officer of Irvine-based Epicor Software Corp. He is a 29-year veteran in the technology industry, with 13 years at the executive management level. Before joining Epicor, Roll was president and chief executive officer of Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of Hitachi Koki. He also has held a variety of senior management positions with Unisys Corp.
* Michael D. Gould has joined Nestor+Gaffney Architecture LLP in Santa Ana Heights as a principal. He was formerly with McLarand,
Vasquez & Partners Inc.
* Norton Garfinkle has been named to the board of eSynch Corp., a Tustin-based developer of technology for electronic software distribution. He is chairman of Oxford Management Corp., an investment firm specializing in new technology companies.
* Armin and Ann Kessler have joined the board of directors of NeoTherapeutics Inc. in Irvine. Both are retired. Armin Kessler was most recently chief operating officer of Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel, Switzerland. Ann Kessler has 27 years of industry experience in the United States and Europe with Hoffmann-La Roche.
* Steven M. Speier has been named a partner in the accounting and financial services consulting firm of Squar Milner in Newport Beach. Speier had been president of American Spectrum Real Estate Services.
