The City Council will discuss the results of a resident survey on the future of City Hall at its meeting today. The city leases office space for City Hall and could continue leasing, buy a building or build a new City Hall.
The council also will consider adopting guidelines for honoring Mission Viejo residents who have competed in the Olympic Games.
The site of such ceremonies, Florence Joyner Olympiad Park, will feature an Olympic-themed plaza with plaques explaining the city’s role as a host of the 1984 Olympic bicycle races. The plaza will also include plaques displaying the names and years that residents participated in the Olympics as well as the sports in which they competed.
The City Council meets at 5 p.m. at City Hall, 25909 Pala.
