ECommercial.com Inc., a streaming-media start-up based in Aliso Viejo, signed a strategic partnership late last week with a New York firm to launch an online animation series for children.
Financial details of the deal with Eurpsville USA Inc., which creates children’s storybooks, were not disclosed.
The two companies plan to roll out early next year the series of one- to two-minute animated cybershows aimed at teaching preschoolers basic letters and spelling, as well as other educational programming. The shows star a young boy named Bipple and a cast of walking, talking, fuzzy alphabet letters.
Officials said the 26 free shows will be distributed to viewers as e-mail attachments, which also includes links to the Eurpsville Web site, https://www.eurps.com.
