Carpenter Cancels Cal State Long Beach Show; Reception, Exhibit Opening to Be Rescheduled

Because of conflicts in his recording schedule, singer-composer Richard Carpenter has been forced to cancel his Nov. 20 concert in the performance hall named for him and his late sister, Karen, at Cal State Long Beach.
The unveiling of a Carpenters exhibit and a benefactors reception to coincide with the performance will be rescheduled.
