Re “4 Guards Acquitted of Setting Up Prison Rape,” Nov. 9:
After reading your articles about the prison guards involved with the Eddie Dillard rape case, I feel that situation is morally wrong. Although the jury said not guilty, I feel that the verdict was wrong.
I will never vote for or support any candidate who so much as takes a dime from any prison guard union fund. I voted for Gov. Gray Davis, but I will be watching very carefully which politician takes what I believe is “payoff money” (political contributions) from the very powerful prison guard union.
