Low-Cost Bone Scanning Offered

The California Osteoporosis Institute is making low-cost preventive bone scanning available today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sav-On Drugs, 5900 Telegraph Road. The cost is $30.
Additional bone scanning will be available 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Sav-On in Camarillo, 351-B Carmen Drive, and from noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at Sav-On in Oxnard, 551 S. Ventura Road.
And on Nov. 20, the institute will offer bone scanning and osteoporosis screening for the first time in the Ojai Valley, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ojai Village Pharmacy, 202 E. Ojai Ave.
Appointments are not necessary.
