San Clemente State Beach will get a once-over this Sunday when a swarm of volunteers is expected to converge upon the shore to collect garbage in an ongoing effort to keep the seafront clean.
Volunteers will gather trash and recyclable materials at the beach from 9 a.m. to noon but are encouraged to stick around after work has ended to enjoy the rest of the day at the beach without having to pay for parking. Information: (949) 366-8594.
