The City Council voted unanimously to make street improvements such as trimming roadside vegetation and widening the street for greater emergency access in the Diamond-Crestview neighborhood area.
Residents expressed concern to the City Council on Tuesday night about the safety of the narrow winding streets in the area. The council first discussed making changes to the roads in July.
“I’m leasing a car, and when my lease is up I’m leasing a smaller car so I can go to these sites,” council member Toni Iseman said. “I’m tired of backing up and not knowing what’s going to happen. It’s frightening.”
