Star Tours

Ursa Major, the Great Bear, “hibernates” during the winter, when it is out of sight near the northern horizon. It returns in the spring, and you can see it in the northeast during early evening. The Big Dipper comprises the part visible from brightly lit cities and is the hindquarters and tail of the bear. The rest comprises many faint stars above and to the south of the dipper.
