Our federal and state legislators who write and pass our ridiculous, complex, inane tax laws should be required to personally complete their personal tax returns.
Take, for example, our state law requiring a 15- to 20-minute computation to determine whether the taxpayer is entitled to a $70 exemption. Get real.
