The city’s Recreation and Park District is offering parents the night off. One Friday night a month, beginning tonight, children ages 6 through 12 can enjoy dinner, a movie, games, crafts and snacks. The club meets from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Community Center and costs $12 per evening, or $10 for each additional child in the same family. Other nights scheduled are April 16, May 21 and June 18.
