Paula Jones, Husband Split; Not Planning to Divorce

Paula Corbin Jones and her husband have separated, but both say a divorce is not likely, a published report said Tuesday.
Jones, 33, said in USA Today that the situation with her husband is “not any different from other couples” who live apart because of different career ambitions and interests.
The paper said the split follows disagreements about strategy in her now-settled sexual harassment lawsuit against President Clinton, how to spend the settlement money and where to live. The two married in 1991.
Steve Jones, 38, will remain at the couple’s condominium in Long Beach, to pursue an acting career and to work on a book, the paper said.
Paula Jones will live in Cabot, Ark., in a house she purchased last week, about 10 miles from Beebe, where her mother lives.
“I wanted to get back closer to my family and friends,” she said. “In California, I had to be very careful about who I got to know, so I didn’t develop any close friendships.”
The paper said the couple’s two sons will live with their mother, who intends to become a manicurist.
