Summer Renaissance Theme
The Crystal Cathedral is offering its annual summer Bible school next week, but don’t be surprised if there are ponies and castles, along with the usual gospel messages and church songs. This year the school is taking on a Renaissance theme, under the title “Son Castle.” Children will build their faith and knowledge of the Bible through crafts, singing, skits and games, organizers say. The classes will be from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday in the Robert Schuller Center at the Crystal Cathedral, 12141 Lewis St.
Classes are offered for children age 4 through the seventh grade. Registration is $20 per child, or $15 for those who register before Sunday. The cost is $12 for each additional child enrolled within one family. For information or to register, call (714) 971-4155.
