Garden Grove Softball Team Makes Nationals

The USA Athletics, a 12-and-under girls’ softball team based in Garden Grove, defeated San Diego Thunder, 2-1, to win the state championship Monday in Corona.
The victory qualifies the USA Athletics for the American Softball Assn.’s national championships, that will be held Aug. 10-15 in Fresno.
