The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter is seeking volunteers to work one four-hour shift a week. Volunteers would bathe dogs and cats, walk dogs, comb cats and generally assist in their well-being. The shelter cares for injured and stray dogs and cats, and then vaccinates and spays or neuters animals that are adoptable. Those interested can contact the shelter between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. seven days a week. Volunteers must be at least 18. Information: (949) 497-3352.
