Thomas Valentine, an investigator with the Police Department, received the Employee Recognition Award at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. Valentine, a veteran of nearly 11 years, was recognized by Mayor Constance Underhill for his high quality “on-the-job performance.” A member of the Special Enforcement Detail’s Gang Unit, Valentine also serves as a member of the Quad City Special Response Team.
