Showing a Little Skin, Not a Strap

Every woman has a favorite bra--one that’s sexy, or that lifts just right and makes an outfit look good. Now there’s a product that lets you wear that favorite bra with sleevless garments, without having to worry about the straps showing. It’s called the Brassiere Strap Hider, and it was created by Veronica Villaclara, a former accountant from Northridge.

Available in black, white, off white or nude, the accessory looks almost like a garter belt that hooks around the bra straps on your back, cinching them together. Villaclara says she developed the idea out of necessity. “I am not a fan of racer-back bras, and they can be hard to find. The Strap Hider lets me wear all of my off-the-shoulder looks.”

Villaclara heard the call to entrepreneurship after reading an article in People magazine. “Last summer I was looking at a story about new millionaires and said to myself, ‘You’ve got to think of something!’ Hopefully this is it.”
