Vitesse Semiconductor Elects 4 Vice Presidents

The board of directors of Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. in Camarillo has elected four new vice presidents--three for data communications and one for telecommunications.

James W. Gramacki was named vice president for telecommunications operations. The company also appointed Barry Sandefur as vice president, advanced networking products; Raymond A. Milano as vice president, optoelectronics / analog products, and Bob Rumer as vice president, gigabit products.

A company spokesman said Gramacki’s appointment will enable Vitesse to facilitate its growth in the telecommunications marketplace and allow the company to meet increased customer demand. The promotion of the other three vice presidents is designed to help the company in the data communications field.

Gramacki began his career at Vitesse in 1989. Milano has been with the company since 1984, Rumer was hired in 1992 and Sandefur in 1991.

Vitesse designs and manufactures integrated circuits for telecommunications, data communications and automated test equipment manufacturers.
