PASADENA — Police were searching Monday for the boyfriend of a 17-year-old girl who was found stabbed to death in her home Friday afternoon.
Johnny Ortiz, 27, of Chino Hills faces a murder charge, said Police Cmdr. Wayne Hiltz.
Maria Isabel Fernandez, a Pasadena City College student who lived with her father, was stabbed numerous times and appears to have died instantly, Hiltz said.
Police hope to track down Ortiz by finding his car, a black 1994 Ford Mustang with the California license plate 3NGA772.
