Robbers Steal $200 From Gas Station

OXNARD — Two men, including one with a gun, robbed a gas station of $200 Thursday night, and police were investigating whether the same pair were responsible for two other holdups earlier this week.
A Chevron station in the 1100 block of South Oxnard Boulevard was robbed shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday. The gunman fired a shot inside the store before emptying the cash register, authorities said. No one was injured.
The robbers fled west on Wooley Road in a car. Officers did not have a description of the suspects or a license plate number from the getaway vehicle.
Authorities said the method of operation in Thursday’s holdup was similar to that in two heists Tuesday.
A Circle K in Ventura and Red Hot Salon in Oxnard were robbed by two men, at least one of whom was armed and fired a shot before stealing money.
