Two teachers will be honored Tuesday for 40 years of service to the Garden Grove Unified School District. Richard Adams, a science teacher at Rancho Alamitos High School, and Joanne Davey, a reading teacher at Russell Elementary School, have taught at their schools for their entire careers and are among only 11 current and former district employees to achieve that milestone.
Additionally, 31 district employees will be receiving 35-year service pins; 60 will receive 30-year pins, 47 will get 25-year pins, 88 will receive 20-year pins, 101 will receive 15-year pins and 203 will receive 10-year pins. The annual Employee Recognition Program begins at 3:30 p.m. in the Los Amigos High School Little Theater, 16566 Newhope St., Fountain Valley. Information: (714) 663-6503.
