ARLETA — Police were asking for the public’s help Sunday as they searched for the family of a 66-year-old man who can’t find his way home, Los Angeles police said.
Emidio Magana Vallesa was found by police Saturday just after 11 a.m. in the 9300 block of Dorrington Place, said Officer Charlotte Broughton, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Vallesa told police he left his son’s house Thursday and was unable to find his way back, Broughton said. He recently moved to the Valley from Mexico and speaks only Spanish.
Vallesa has gray hair and brown eyes, weighs 140 pounds and is 5 feet, 5 inches tall.
Anyone who knows Vallesa’s family and where they live can call the LAPD’s Foothill Division at (818) 756-8863.
