Radio City Rockettes to Audition Dancers, Singers for Shows

The New York-based Radio City Rockettes will hold an open casting call for dancers and singers May 5 and 7 at the Screenland II Studios, 10501 Burbank Blvd., North Hollywood.
Most spots will be for “The Radio City Christmas Spectacular,” which is seen by more than 2 million people each year. Christmas 1999 productions will be staged simultaneously in New York, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Branson, Mo., and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The May 5 auditions, at 10 a.m., will be for Rockettes dancers; applicants must be at least 18 and between 5 feet 5 1/2 and 5 feet 9.
Auditions on May 7 will be for both singers, 10 a.m., and male dancers, 3 p.m. All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
