The owner of an elder care facility received Planning Commission permission recently to expand his building at 6041 Kingman Ave. Commissioners unanimously agreed to give the owner a one-year extension to expand the kitchen and shower area and to allow him to combine two parcels so he can build beyond the site’s current boundaries.
