The City Council this week voted 5 to 0 to fund a flood zone study along Alicia Parkway and Veeh Ranch Park. The council approved spending about $15,000 for a consultant who will recommend channel improvements at Veeh Ranch Park, south of Lake Forest Drive and west of Mill Creek, to allow for containment of water from rainstorms within the channel banks.
