Scholarships for academic excellence will be awarded to junior high and high school students during a “Salute to Education” breakfast at the Brea Civic and Cultural Center next week. The April 23 breakfast, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, also will honor the teachers of the year as well as local business leaders who served as principal for a day last month. District Supt.
