GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS

* McLaughlin Engineering & Mining in Temecula was awarded a contract for $120,721 from Ventura County to build a reinforced concrete rock riprap structure at the Groves Place drain in Somis.
The project is scheduled for completion on April 30.
* VPS Environmental in Ventura was awarded a $2,301 contract from Ventura County to clean out sand from the Plaza Avenue Pump Station at Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard.
The project was completed last month.
