About 3,000 walkers from throughout Orange County will converge on Irvine Regional Park on Saturday to help fight multiple sclerosis. The annual MS Walk is held at more than 650 sites across the nation, including four in Orange County, according to the Irvine-based Orange County Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. opening ceremony and the 8:30 a.m. 15K and 5K walk. Walkers will collect pledges in an effort to reach the $250,000 fund-raising goal for 1999. Last year, the Orange County walks raised $230,000. Information: (949) 752-1680.
