Planning commissioners Wednesday are expected to overlook certain code requirements and approve a proposed contracting business in the 8100 block of Monroe Avenue. The industrial building on the 21,000-square-foot site is more than 30 years old, and certain code exemptions are needed to give the owner time to bring the property up to code, said development services specialist Jim Basham. The commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers, 7800 Katella Ave. Information: (714) 379-9222.
