Silliness Via the Web

Re “A Web of Thoughts” (March 25):
Tell me that I’m not paranoid! Tell me that the artist Allan McCollum didn’t create “The Registration of an Artwork,” and that the Museum of Modern Art didn’t exhibit the 480 “surrogates,” and that critics all over the world didn’t babble on over its insight and deep meaning, and that Christopher Knight didn’t gush over the exhibit’s transference to the Internet, and that all of these people didn’t go to all of this effort and conspiracy just to pull off the greatest practical joke that’s ever befallen me: getting me to log on to the MOMA site and waste my time looking at this silliness.
