Bicyclist Identified

Huntington Beach authorities have identified the bicyclist hit by a van and killed Sunday as 50-year-old Wayne Bieske of Long Beach.
Bieske was northbound in the bicycle lane on Newland Street just north of Pacific Coast Highway about 12:30 p.m. when he apparently hit something in the road and lost his balance, Huntington Beach police said.
