FSF Renaissance Villas Associates purchased Renaissance Villa Apartments, a 184-unit complex at 855-877 W. El Repetto Drive in Monterey Park, for $9 million from BKS Capital Group. Kevin Lutz and Robert Chui of Sperry Van Ness, who represented the seller, said the new owner plans to invest $2 million to remodel the complex, which is the largest in Monterey Park. John Walsh of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer.
Harkham Industries, a designer and manufacturer of women’s clothing and shoes, bought a 120,000-square-foot industrial building at 4890 Alameda St. in Vernon for $4.3 million from Pan Metals Corp. of South Korea. Bart Pucci of Grubb & Ellis, who represented both the buyer and seller, said Harkham will relocate its operations from a building at 1157 Crocker St. in the downtown Los Angeles garment district to the Vernon site, which will serve as a corporate headquarters as well as a design and distribution facility. Pucci said the owner of Harkham Industries, Uri Markham, will retain ownership of the Crocker Street building as an investment.
