L.A. Baptist 41, Fillmore 7--Derek Suguitan rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns in six carries for L.A. Baptist (3-1) at Fillmore (1-3).
Steven Long opened the game for the Knights with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Fillmore tied the score, 7-7, on Ted Chewning’s three-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter. Chewning finshed with 127 yards in 28 carries.
Suguitan scored on runs of 11 and 75 yards, and quarterback Scott Swenson completed six of 11 passes for 87 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown to Garrett Ellis.
