A Fullerton businesswoman has donated $500,000 to the Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute as part of her efforts to help children with chronic or life-threatening diseases.
The gift from Judith Partridge, founder and CEO of Eastwood Insurance Services Inc. of Fullerton, will support the Judith Partridge Molecular Tissue Typing Research Lab.
This year, Partridge launched “My Brother Joey,” a nonprofit foundation dedicated to fighting children’s diseases and birth defects.
