Camp Fair Will Present Summer Recreation Options

More than 75 groups will be represented tonight at Camp Fair ‘98, an event for parents interested in summer recreational programs for their children.
Programs range from preschool day camps to monthlong college credit tours of Europe, said Steve Siegel, a spokesman for the American Camping Assn.
“Rather than looking in the yellow pages and making a lot of phone calls, they can go to one place and get the information,” said Siegel.
Most of the camps are in Southern California, but 25% are in other areas, including three overseas programs, he said.
The fair will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cheviot Recreational Center, 2551 Motor Ave.
