Hycor Biomedical Chief Hamill to Retire

Dr. Richard D. Hamill, Hycor Biomedical Inc.’s chairman, president and chief executive, will retire Friday, the Garden Grove maker of medical diagnostic products said.
Hycor Biomedical said it named J. David Tholen president and chief executive and appointed director Samuel D. Anderson as chairman. Hamill will resign from the board but remain a consultant.
Tholen had been president of International Murex Technologies Corp. since 1993.
