Collier Opts for Georgia Tech

Former Indiana player Jason Collier has decided to continue a family tradition at Georgia Tech.
Collier, a 7-foot sophomore center, said Thursday that he has transferred to Georgia Tech, where his father, Jeff, played center from 1972-76.
Collier quit the Hoosier program on Dec. 18, citing a personality conflict with Coach Bobby Knight.
Collier won’t be able to play for Georgia Tech until next December because the NCAA requires transfer players to sit out a year.
