The Heritage of San Clemente will host a tribute Sunday to Police Officer Richard T. Steed commemorating the 20th anniversary of his death. Steed is the only San Clemente police officer ever killed in the line of duty. The tribute, from 1 to 4 p.m., will include a complimentary exhibit at the museum, which is at 415 N. El Camino Real.
