Mater Dei, Freshman/Softball/Pitcher
Bollinger pitched a no-hitter for the second-ranked Monarchs as they defeated No. 9 La Habra, 1-0, in a nonleague game. She lost her bid for a perfect game on a sixth-inning error. With an earned-run average of 0.00, she has given up seven hits in 30 innings.
Lindsey Buck/Swimming
* Laguna Hills, freshman. Won the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.63), the 100 backstroke (1:01.92) and swam on winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays in a 97-73 victory over University.
Ashley Furst/Track and Field
* Laguna Hills, junior. Won 200-, 400- and 800-meter races in two consecutive meets, recording a county best in the 800 (2:17.5). She has the county best in the 400 (58.9).
Kristen Green/Track and Field
* Huntington Beach, junior. Won the 800 (2:22) and 1,600 meters (5:20) and ran a leg of the mile relay as the Oilers upset No. 5 Marina.
