The Golden West women’s swimming team has forfeited its six South Coast Conference dual-meet victories, conference commissioner Don MacKenzie said Monday.
A Golden West spokesman would only confirm that the team went from 6-0 in conference meets to 0-6.
MacKenzie said additional information would have to come from Golden West Athletic Director Tom Hermstad, but the school is on spring break and he is unavailable for comment.

Hit record: Sophomore third baseman Kirk Bolling needs one hit to set the Saddleback career record. He starts play in the Sequoias Easter tournament Wednesday with 126 hits. Corrie Willkie had the same number in 1996 and ’97.
Bolling, from West Torrance High, needs three runs batted in to take over the college’s top spot. He has 112 and is two behind Steve DeAngelis (1983-84).
