Notre Dame’s Lee Claims Second Place

Anne Lee, a Notre Dame High junior, squandered a six-shot lead with a final-round 82 on Monday at Wilson Golf Course and finished in third place in the girls’ championship flight of the Los Angeles City junior golf tournament.
Lee led after two rounds, but Yoon Cho of California Country Club in Whittier was the winner, shooting 73 in the final round and a three-day total of 226, three shots ahead of Lee.
Tommy Barber, a Notre Dame sophomore, shot 221 and won the boys’ 14- to 15-year-old division. Jason Broome of Highland finished tied for sixth place in the division.
