Amgen Inc. of Thousand Oaks won a $54.4-million contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs in Hines, Ill., for pharmaceuticals.
* Thermo Mechanical Systems Co. of Canoga Park won a $737,882 contract from the Army in Adelphi, Md., for research and development.
* Litton Systems Inc. of Woodland Hills won a $239,860 contract from the Army Aviation and Missile Command at the Redstone Arsenal, Ala., for aircraft components and accessories.
* Ripa Engineering Co. of Chatsworth won a $214,756 contract from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma for engines, turbines and components.
* Sierracin-Sylmar Corp. of Sylmar won a $170,500 contract from Robins Air Force Base in Georgia for aircraft and airframe structural components.
* Vista Controls Corp. of Santa Clarita won a $111,030 contract from NASA in Houston for general-purpose supplies.
* GTE Network Services Inc. of Thousand Oaks won a $106,832 contract from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma for automatic data processing and telecommunication services.
* Pacific Sky Supply Inc. of Sun Valley won a $60,225 contract from the Defense Industrial Supply Center in Philadelphia for bearings.
