* I am writing to express my gratitude for the coverage you provided on the San Fernando Mission’s 200th anniversary and celebration of the history of the San Fernando Valley.
The stories that ran during the past year, particularly the past month, were all enjoyable, enlightening and informative. They ensured that people in the Valley were informed about their history as well as the celebration events. There is now a much deeper appreciation of the depth and diversity of the history of the Valley because of your articles.
The celebration took months to plan and was a cumulative effort by the community. It was not only an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the diversity of the Valley, but was a chance for people to learn about our past through the celebration events and the excellent series of articles.
